Good morning BN. I come from a gun culture and have a concealed weapons permit, but you can't see it because it's in my wallet.

Good Morning my friends who stroll/saunter in today.
We got more rain overnight -- YAY!!! The pond actually looks really nice but it is short-lived since as soon as the level hits the "skimmer hole" in the drain box it begins to flow out into the intracoastal waterway.
Last night I watched the 3-episode Netflix docuseries https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/ ... er-updates. This event occurred in Myrtle Beach 2 yrs ago and made national news. It is a sad story with many questions still unanswered.
I'm not sure what, if anything, we are doing today. We may head to the gym since it's not outdoor walking weather. Kevin has been using some of the strengthening equipment and is feeling it . I'm trying to keep my knee from getting worse but I a 2nd shot scheduled for 9/9. It's hard to get quick appointments so I schedule then reschedule then schedule....... If I can hold off on surgery until the new year that would be great.
Have an awesome day doing whatever you've got going on.

I've never touched any type of gun......except a BB gun Kevin had as a kid which we passed on to our oldest grandson when we moved to SC.

Good morning Bill, Linda, and BN!
No rain again here. Glad yours is getting better, Linda.
Bill? E had a concealed permit, as well. I used one of his Glocks a couple of times to shoot at targets. When I was a kid, we used to shoot at targets on my Grandparents LARGE farm. I loved doing that. It was fun for our family.
A couple of errands today, but nothing exciting. Will get out early, as it's going to be mid 90's again.
Have a good Saturday!

Good afternoon.
I'm still recovering from yesterday. My flight home had a connection in Charlotte, it was supposed to be at 8:00pm. Charlotte to Myrtle Beach is a 35 minute flight. Shortly after I got off the plane I got a weather alert on my phone, a severe thunderstorm warning in the Charlotte area. They pushed back the departure time of my flight 5 times. The clock on the dashboard of my car said 12:07am when I pulled into the parking lot at home. At least I had a cold beer and a good chicken sandwich with potato salad in the Olde Mecklenburg Brewing bar/restaurant that wasn't there the last time I flew out of concourse D in Charlotte last year.

To steal a line from a Three Dog Night song (actually a Hoyt Axton song because he wrote it), "I've never been to heaven, but I've been to Oklahoma". After I cancelled my trip to Grand Rapids for the Coral Reefer band show when I wasn't feeling well I made a spur of the moment decision and went to Tulsa.
There's a minor league baseball team in Tulsa but they were on a road trip so I couldn't go to a game.

Did you wave to E's family?? (They're actually in Broken Arrow, but right next to Tulsa).

Hey everyone! Happy (early by a week) Jimmy Buffett Day Heard about it on RM.
No rain here, but the ferry I took to the Boston Islands was sprayed by the Codzilla (a speedboat tour).
