Will probably run to the grocery store today for a few things. I'm going to go to my sister's house on Tuesday to dog sit, and back on the 10th. They're going to Bora Bora.
Otherwise nothing else going on. Rain didn't amount to much yesterday, and today we're dropping into the mid 80's.
I have to do something I really dislike doing today, go grocery shopping on Sunday. I prefer going on a weekday because the store is less crowded but I need milk for tomorrow morning's corn flakes and I don't have anything for lunch. Maybe they'll have a beer I haven't tried yet at the Beer Den.
I've been having some mouth/dental pain off and on since Wednesday. Went to the dentist on Thursday and he didn't find anything. Said it could be Trigeminal Neuralgia.
Today is laundry day and putting fresh linens on the bed. Later I'm going to make Tomato Basil Bisque for dinner.
Happy Sunday.
Hiya Larry! I actually just came back from the grocery store, and mine was pretty quiet. I also topped off my gas tank since I'm taking/picking up my sister/BIL to/from the airport.
Tammy - I actually had to look up that condition. Sounds awful. But your soup sounds WONDERFUL!!
The last day of August, sometimes considered the last day of Summer; September 1st is the first day of "Meteorlogical Fall" which is September through November. We actually got .60" of rain yesterday morning, pushing our total for the month up to .62"!
It's Sunday, let's go to Duke's....
I may not be able to party like I used to, but if I take a nap, I can usually stay up ‘til dark....

The supermarket wasn't too crowded but there was some excitement in the parking lot when I got there. I didn't see what started things but some guy who was just leaving was yelling at another guy who was walking into the store. The guy who was leaving dropped several f bombs and the last thing I heard him say was "keep speeding through parking lots you fat f**k". Good times.
I just found out I have one less choice for my weekly brewery visit, Voodoo Brewing closed yesterday. I wish I had known, I would have stopped in for a beer or two. The owner is a nice guy and he's a 20 year Marine veteran. One of the bartenders was a pretty good guy too, and his musical knowledge extends back more than 5 years so we had some good conversations about music. The woman with the F**K OFF tattoo worked there too.

YUCK! That is THE worst day around here too! Even worse than Saturday! If it were me, I'd go out for breakfast tomorrow and shop on the way home!
But at least you had some entertainment in the parking lot! Oh and sorry about that brewery closure; I remember your tales of the tattooed lady!
