SUNDAY SUNDAY @ THE MSC

Hello everyone!
Yesterday we got a last minute invite to join 2 neighbor couples at a local brewery. They love the Bloody Mary flight. I tried it and all 4 were yummy. Kevin got a porter. We had some sandwiches and enjoyed our time together. 1 of the couples hosted a Rosh Hashanah dinner on Friday night which was AMAZING. Mark said the prayer in Hebrew and then in English. We love (most of) our neighbors

.
Have a fantastic day!

Good morning Linda and BN.
Slept in till 7:30 this morning, not my usual 6:ish.
Gonna polish some wooden pieces today. Looking at mid 90's today, but cooler later in the week.
Have a good Sunday!

Good morning Penny, Linda, Picture Ken, and BN!
The little town of Bellingham is under a flood watch for excessive rain. NWS mentioned an "areal flood," which I thought was a typo for "a real flood"
Since I'm gonna be holed up a la casa, I've decided to try and finish season 5 of Nashville before it leaves Netflix! It is such a great show and every episode has a different song. They are all well written and the acting is amazing

Good almost afternoon, at least to my fellow east coasters.
The Giants are on Sunday Night Football. I've been a fan since I was a kid but they haven't given us much to cheer about for a long time. Maybe I'll watch the game anyway. I don't get to see them very often because the "local" teams here for network TV purposes are the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons.

Afternoon Jerry and Larry!

Good luck with the weather and the football game.
Don't get the Broncos games here, since I'm using "Roku", but I may be changing to YouTubeTV. My sister has it, and it gets a lot more channels (and things I like aren't shown the next day), and it's not much more $ than I'm paying now.
Just found out I missed Oktoberfest at the brewery yesterday, cause a friend I was going with had it NEXT Saturday.
Skipped wood polishing, and decided to vacuum instead.

Hi there! We both slept poorly and I tried napping twice before the third nap worked.

An update from season 5 of Nashville...
Rayna Jaymes is gone

It was such a sad moment. I rarely cry when watching television, but this is the one exception.

We'll be watching too... for the same reason!
Jerry - an "areal" flood is one that kinda sneaks up gradually from prolonged rain as the ground becomes too saturated to hold more water. This is as opposed to a flash flood, which is from sudden downpours.

Gonna watch TV from the couch. Nice breeze outside, but still 88 degrees. I'll stay in the A/C.
