Not to steal the thunder of the Month of Linda but Dr.C is making a major announcement today.
After conversing with Pastor yesterday, It's confirmed (finally) that Lynn & I will be married 10/20/26. Just simple vows said before the pastor & our 2 witnesses. We will then move on as official Husband & Wife!
Hope all enjoy their 28th day of September!

Congratulations to you and Lynn!!! I like the date that you chose. Easy to remember.
Nothing going on here, other than changing the bedding/sheets on my bed.
Have a good Monday!!

Good morning Ken and Penny.
Today is National Drink Beer Day. I will drink a beer to toast Ken & Lynn.
I had a doctor's appointment this morning. On the way home there was a hawk perched on top of a light pole, probably scoping out the area looking for its next meal.

Good morning, Larry! No beer here to drink, so I'll just have some wine and/or flavored vodka.

I'm getting my weekly brewery visit out of the way early this week. There's a new bartender, at least one I've never seen before. Both arms all tatted up, a ring in her nose and she's a hard looking woman. Not a large person but she just has that look like she could probably kick my ass .

There's one thing I just don't get? Nose rings. Have several friends who have them - how does one blow their noses??

Other than a piercing (or two) in one's ear lobe, I don't understand making holes in one's face.
Eyebrows, lips, noses, cheeks.... I don't get it....
Congratulations to Ken and Lynn!!!

I have one ear pierced, that's the only hole in my body that I wasn't born with.
I'm not a big fan of pumpkin beers, or pumpkin anything. The brewery had a pumpkin beer and it was the only new beer of the 12 they had on tap today. I asked for a sample and I was surprised, it was one of the better pumpkin beers I've had so I ordered a pint. I only had one, it's 8.5% abv and I had to drive home.

I have 2 holes in each ear, and that's it for me.
And I love pumpkin flavor, and have only had a few beers that were good.

I had a male student with such a large septum hole, he stuck a loaded paint brush through it and painted a few strokes. As it was a classroom brush, I told him scrub it with soap.

I had to close windows and turn on the heat. It's breezy and barely reached 60 here today.

Pumpkins were invented for Pumpkin Pie. Well, maybe ice cream or cheesecake, but that's it!
Even though I live in the land of Starbucks (and used to go there when there was only one shop), I've never tried a pumpkin latte.....

Thanks for sacrificing a beer in our honor Larry! I'm sure it wasn't a Corona which I haven't had myself in probably 10 years
