Good morning BN! :)

Today I'll be reviewing all of the documents I created for my Will, POA, and HIPPA, as I'm getting them notarized and witnessed tomorrow.

Didn't get the vacuum cleaner run yesterday, so I'll do that today.

Have a good Tuesday!!

Good morning, Penny. We have a favorite window to the world in our bedroom. It looks out to the little pond I made.

Sounds perfect, Bill! :) My bedroom patio, and 2 living room windows, look at a lot of trees. :D

Very nice 70 degree morning today so I had my bowl of cereal out on the back deck that faces to the west, & a nice stand of woods across the farm field probably 250-300 yards. Was definitely a Window on the World moment as the trees are starting to turn colors. Also across the field rising up in the middle of the woods is a Energy power tower.
While it's nothing to speak of for the eyes of course, it's a favorite roosting spot for mostly the Red Tailed Hawks & sometimes the Turkey Vultures.
Pulled out the binoculars this morning & tuned in on the Hawk who was up there & he/she was definitely active scoping out the landscape. I mentioned that to Lynn as I came in after my breakfast. I was only moments down the road when she texted & said sure enough so just spotted the Hawk perched on a nearby tree scouting out our bird feeder area. Love the Hawks but wish they'd find a varmint to go after rather the little birds. :-?

Enjoy your afternoon/evening everyone

No plane on Tuesday... it might be a good day to get the lawn mowed (again). :-?

I never knew Jimmy's version was a cover...

Good afternoon.

I had to go to the County Treasurer's Office to pay the property tax on my car. I like to pay it in person, that way I get the new registration sticker for my license plate while I'm there instead of having to wait for it in the mail.

Tonight is the Frozen Frenzy in the NHL, all 32 teams are playing. I think there's one other day near the end of the season when they all play again.

Well, I hope tomorrow brings better news than mowing the lawn again, Mr. SPH. :-?

And thank you for the music, AGAIN. :D

I rechecked my Medicare and UHC Supplemental insurances, and some on the costs/premiums went down, and some of the Out Of Pocket amounts were only slightly increased. Happy about this.

I was surprised I didn't wake up with a bruise on my arm this morning. When I went to the blood drive yesterday they didn't hit the vein on the first try and they had to move the needle around to get it in. That's happened before and there's always a bruise the next day. Today, nothing. Except for about 40 years worth of needle marks from whole blood and platelet donations.

Pretty much any window we have looks out at the woods, (we have 1.5 acres of them) so it's all good! :D

Bill - how big is the pond? It must be very serene to look out upon!

Penny - good news on your Medicare! I'm glad you can still keep UHC as a supplement... I understand that they are dropping a LOT of their Advantage plans, at least around here. Also what HIPAA documents did you prepare? That does not sound familiar to me, unless it is another name for the Health Care Proxy...

Larry- with all the travel teams do these days, I am actually surprized there is a 16-game day, never mind 2 of them! :o
We have an excise tax on our vehicles also, but it is not tied to the registration. It's just a bill sometime in February with the proceeds going to the town, not the state. Massachusetts hits us for a $50.00 registration fee every other year, as well as a $35.00 yearly inspection.

Ken - we have many raptors around, several species of both hawks and owls... I love watching them! But they are the reason why the only bird feeder I put out is for the hummers because they don't bother with something that tiny! They feast mostly on the chipmunks, voles, and the occasional rabbit.

Mr. SPH - another great "song pairing"... thank you!

I've had BOTH of those issues too, Larry.. Tho my donations haven't been for 40 years!!! :o

I had UHC as one of my providers when I was working, and they always did a great job. I'm pleased they'll still be around. :)
And the HIPAA form I filled out (to be notarized and witnessed tomorrow at home) was so that Cameron and my sister can receive any and all of my medical information from doctors or hospitals.

RAPTORS! We love to see them and count sightings. On hour long drives we may have over 10 sightings, no matter if it is a single bird or a group. We also look for crows and contrails.

On the pond size, Elaine, it's 12 feet long and 7 feet wide with a rubber liner. The shape is 2 connecting circles with the larger circle area being 3.5 deep. We have goldfish and frogs. Anne searches the rocks and pond plants with binoculars to spot the frogs.

Ha! If you saw what comes out of the bottom when I clean it out in the spring, you wouldn't want to swim in it. :D

I'm glad you have had good experiences with UHC and can keep them. They don't have the best reputation here, due to frequent denials of service. It must be a regional thing.

As to that HIPAA form... our doctors have that incorporated into our records; we did not need a separate notarized form. But that may be because we named each other, the whole spousal thing, which would not apply to Cameron or your sister. Our health care proxies do list a secondary authorized person in case both of us are incapacitated, which is our son.

That sounds awesome! I'm sure it was quite a project, but it must bring a lot of enjoyment now!

Actually the HIPAA form was the only one that didn't need notarizing. :) I've never checked with my doctors office to see if they have anything to list who can have the information. But I see several doctors, so I wanted to cover anyone that needed the information. :D
