Good morning BN!
We had a pretty big dump of rain in the wee hours of the morning, which makes me glad I don't have to drive in it to work.

It's also just 37 degrees.
Putting away the laundry I did yesterday, cause stuff I hung up dried overnight.
Then I'll work on my current puzzle more.
Have a good Monday!!

Good morning Penny.
The temperature is only in the 50s but it's supposed to be in the 70s later so I'm still wearing shorts. I'm trying to make it to November without wearing pants.

Hopefully you can remain pantless for the next few days, Larry.

Tragic morning. An ancient 2 story building went up in flames across from our breakfast diner. Two young families barely escaped with their lives. The one family lost 3 cats, but saved the dogs. A pit bull had no collar and was panicking. I leashed it with my belt. Both families were in shock and it took effort to get them into a back room at the diner.

Spent part of this weekend in Ocean Springs, then drove over to Pascagoula to see Jimmy’s childhood home and visit the cemetery where The Captain and Uncle Billy are buried. There’s something special about being in the places that helped shape Jimmy and his music. Of course, I had plenty of Buffett playing along the way! A pretty great way to spend a weekend on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

So.....I woke around 7:30; made my way down the hall to the front door, opened it, looked out and there was a Sheriff's car parked across the street.
He got out, walked to the front door, took a flashlight and looked in the window next to the door. He then returned to his car, grabbed something and then headed back to the door. He folded a sheet of paper in half and taped it to the door. As he was returning to his car I went out and told him "they don't live here any more". He said "I need to post it any way". It's a notice from the local court addressed only to the "dad" and it states "....you have violated the terms of conditions of your"..... (couldn't read the rest as it was folded). "You, the Defendant and lessee of the premises.......to vacate the premises immediately.....". So at least we are positive they are not moving back across from us. T
Kevin now has both kegs of beer on tap

........we had a sample of each....yummmmm.
Oh yea -- it's a beautiful weather day.
That's all for today folks.

I went to the moonshine distillery/brewery and did a moonshine flight. One of them was blue, it was called Blue Flame and it's 128 proof. It was my least favorite. Another one wasn't moonshine, it was Salted Caramel Whiskey. I'm not a whiskey drinker but I liked it. I didn't taste any salt but the caramel was pretty prominent and it was very smooth. At the end you get a beer, but not a full beer, I think it was about 6 ounces. They had 3 to choose from. I chose the IPA, it was a bad choice.
