Good morning BN! :)

No actual pacing here, but I am running a few errands later this morning.

That's all the excitement in my part of the country.

Have a good Tuesday! :)

Hello Penny & all by other BN friends.

It's an almost clear blue sunny sky. Nice temps too. I'll take it!

Nothing much for me today except a hair appt at 1:30. I may food shop on my way home. Kevin has his first of several dental appointments since he needs 2 crowns :(. I'm very fortunate to have strong teeth other than those "our age huge black molar fillings".

Our hospital system has a free DNA testing program going on (says it is not shared or uploaded into any other data base - not that I'm worried) so I decided to participate. It is used to give awareness to potential health issues. Although I'm a little late at age 67 to join the party I thought I'd give it a try since I have no way to obtain family health info.

On today's episode of "as the hood turns" there's a traveling locksmith across the street trying to make a key for the red truck that may be the only thing left to move. The "mom" is waiting in her car -- she did pull the sheriff's "notice to vacate" off of the front door.

It looks like the rainy season is really here now with rain and temps in the 50°s in the forecast every day for the foreseeable future....
I really am just pacing the cage. MrsSPH is still down south with the new grandbaby, she's coming home on Friday.

Still no videos of Jimmy doing it live, so...

I don't know what we're going to do with all our free time when they are finally gone from the neighborhood. [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif].

I think I made three or four posts within the last two weeks. I might be sitting in a record!

I’m currently reading Jimmy Buffett: The Key West Years by Tom Corcoran. It’s fun getting a closer look at those early Key West days and the people and places that were part of Jimmy’s world. The more I learn about those years, the more I appreciate the stories behind the music. Makes me want to get back down to Key West (been twice) and do some more exploring! 🌴🎶

Linda, I'm not sure how you'll be able to stand the quiet. ;)

Thanks, Mr. SPH! :) I'm glad Mrs. SPH is coming home Friday! :)

Brad? I think you get a trophy, or something. :P

Just got back from doing a little shopping with Cameron. We went to Trader Joe's for a bit, then I needed to get a few things from his grocery store. :)

Good evening.

I went to get a haircut this afternoon. The place I go to has what they call the MVP Service, it's a cut and a shampoo. They have a small chalkboard by the front desk with a handwritten sign that says NO TRICKS, JUST TREAT YOU'R SELF TO AN MVP. That's right "you'r self".

Hi there! We drove by the brick building that caught fire yesterday at 4:30. This morning we saw it had been knocked down. It was done last night. The village where it happened gets its water from my hometown 6 miles away. There was a water main break there and fire companies from up to 30 miles away sent tanker trucks. 33 departments came. Lithium batteries caused the fire.

Mr. SPH, thank you for the videos... they are spot-on, as always. I have always enjoyd Bruce Cockburn ,and was thrilled that Jimmy chose some of my favorite Cockburn tunes to cover. I think JB's vocals on Pacing the Cage are among his best.

I finally got back in here this evening... it's been a rough few days.
Our daughter and her husband had to make the very difficult and out-of-the-bue decison to put down their beloved cat on Friday. She was so distraught and of course I was too. He was having breathing issues, so they brought him in to the vet on Friday, thinking he had a respiratory infection... and found out his chest was filled with fluid and he was in congestive heart failure. Since she and her husband were both there, they opted to do the humane thing,

good evening !

A few weeks ago our store had pork butt on sale & I grabbed one for $8. Today we cooked it in our large electric roaster. Kevin made some type of spice rub. It was amazing :). Next time I seem them on sale I will get another. Kevin was able to eat a small amount. The right side of his forehead, check & neck are super numb from the 1st step in his crown process. When that one is complete he gets another :).

Catch everyone tomorrow.

Thank you...
Yes, it was very difficult (Quercus was an abandoned kitten, so young that Marissa had to bottle-feed him), but there really was no other option as he was struggling to breathe, so prolonging his end would have been miserable for all 3 of them. They made the "correct" choice, but it was still heartbreaking...
