I think you'll have to either steal one or write the Florida Department of Transportation to see if you can purchase one.

LOL....I'll think about it SA, I want one for myself too ya know!!!!

All jokes aside, I really do think your best bet would be to call the Department of Transportation like Frib said!!!

Our tour guide when we were down there told us it was the most stolen road sign in Florida, so they prob have alot on hand.

I too wanted an A1A road sign, but was not willing to fork over $100 or more to someone on ebay. I figured the people selling them had to buy em from somewhere..so I started doing a little research. I found the actual company that produces them for the state of Florida..and ordered one from them. They only charged $28.50 for the sign, but they had a minimum order amount of $50.00. So...I got myself a really cool hurricane evacuation route sign too. Looks pretty good on my shed next to the pool.I took the A1A sign to the JB show at Starlake, and used it as part of our decorations.Got a lot of compliments on it too.If anyone wants the address of the company...just email me at fishdork@attbi.com

I have a beautiful mint condition, genuine state issue, right out of the FDOT yard in St. Augustine. It hangs with pride in my garage and I pass it every day with a salute of course. Along with my Ed Podolak autographed One Particular Harbor album and football card, my AIA sign is among my most cherished possesions. I live a simple life but I am happy.
