Been on this since yesterday evening. Crawling along ever so slowly, but I'm getting there. :) 48% or so to go...looks like a great show!

I finished downloading this this morning. It is a great show. Terrific recording. Apparently the date listed was wrong on Sharing the Groove. The 2nd cd appears to be mainly filler, I have no idea from what shows though. Regardless, great recording. The show is from 3/14/81 from the Palladium in NY (if COBO is correct).

This show is from 3/14/80. I've debated this for a long time and this show is widely spread as '81 but there's no way because in '81 he was touring supporting coconut telegraph and was playing about 25 songs a night plus he was doing a lot of songs from the album and this one has no songs from it. Also it's missing sending the old man home.

Ayup. Bamafan is correct. It definately appears to be missing a song on disc one, between tracks 12 and 13. I would assume the one he mentions. As for the year, in d1t12, Jimmy does mention that the Coral Reefers just celebrated their fifth anniversary earlier on March 5th. So if anyone is more up-to-date with the history of the Coral Reefers, then you may be better suited to determine the date than I.

lizard - do you have bit torrent on your computer? If so, and you have a client to download it with, there should be no problem. I'm still seeding it.

Thanks for the help with the years guys, there seems to be a lot of confusion about it. Any idea where the filler songs came from at the end of Disc 2 (besides the obvious Spicoli's Theme and Hello Texas?)

Ok that proves it's '80, i had never thought about that but the first tour with the band was in '75 so there 5th year would be '80.

I think the Don Henley song if from his solo live album he had back in the early 90's, i know Jimmy was on there. The Jerry Jeff Walker part is from the Texas Connection in '92. And that last track i have no idea what it is or why it's on there.
