Just a helpful hint about vines (setlists & sources plea

I'm so happy Parrotheads are finally jumping on the vines and bit torrent bandwagon (I grabbed a couple of great shows this past weekend). With that said, it would be helpful if maybe we follow a similar etiquette observed by Phish fans, deadheads, etc., when seeding vines.

It would be great to know the source of the show. I presume most are Radio Margaritaville recordings, but every once in a while an audience recording or soundboard recording pops up. It may also be good to know how it was recorded, encoded, etc. I, for one, am not a big fan of Radio Margaritaville recordings - especially those encoded poorly. Unless I attended a show or there was a rarity included, I would probably skip RM shows (I'm sure I'm not the only one).

And finally, setlists within the post would be cool. Sure, a setlist is only a few clicks away, but, that's still a few clicks that could be saved. If you don't want to post the entire setlist, because let's face it, they are similar, at least tell us the rarities that were played.

Just some thoughts...take 'em or leave 'em. Keep the shows coming and share the jams with your fellow Parrotheads.

I am getting excellent sound results recording from Radio Margaritaville in the MP3 format using Replay Radio. Have you tried it? There's a free demo with no credit card required.

I am hoping to upload the Blossom concert in the next day or so and you can check out my results and see what you think. I would appreciate any constructive criticism you may have.

I would appreciate seeing the setlist and source.

I think it would help anyone decide if this is a 'must have' quicker, without the extra clicks. and it's only '2 clicks' for the poster, if you look at the number of 'reads' and multiply that by 2 it climbs into the hundreds!
not bi!chin', just my 2 cents...
thanks to all you seeders out there,
Vic
