I was feeling the high-blood-sugar lightheadedness too! And that
was just from reading the subject of the thread!
(Thank goodness I'm doing low carbs and will not be tempted to make this.)

Hmmm... 2 dozen...

Did you see the size of the can of fruit cocktail? Was a normal size can or one of those larger cans? Did she say you could subsitute crushed pineapple in its place?

I wouldn't mind making this for a cool fall tailgating...

It didn't look like very much fruit cocktail in relation to the amount of other ingredients. Guess they just want to "sweeten" it up some, as if it were necessary!

And whenever you have the choice to buy fresh KK's or store-bought one, buy 'em FRESH from the KK store! :D

But you shouldn't waste those by cooking with them!

That's why I would buy an extra dozen for the trip home. :wench: Gives you a good excuse. :wench:

Well, since it's usually "buy one dozen, get a dozen glazed for cheap"
I guess that would require buying FOUR dozen, right? I mean,
the recipe does call for 2 dozen...

and... had to throw this in too....

I'm not talkin' quesadillas or a dozen Krispy Kremes,
Or a pound of caviar that's a rich man's dream.
No banana split or fillet of pompano.
No, I will play for gumbo,
Yeah, I will play for gumbo
