Helps with Windows Media Player recordings

I was wondering if anyone recording shows using the Windows Media Player feed (HI or LOW) could post the settings you use for good quality recordings. Do you have DFX enhancement enabled? Or how about SRS WOW effects or anything of the sort? Do you use an equalizer preset like 56K Streaming or have you found a custom one that works best? Where are your volume sliders positioned, etc...I'm just trying to get some idea of what the highest possible recording quality should sound like. I wish I understood audio better
