CD burning question????

Not particularly too computer savy and need some info on burning cd's from a master so I don't hold the vines up.

Can I just burn the master straight to a CD and it will play in the car, or do I need to change the file format?

Is it possible to copy the files to my hard drive to be able to burn them later?

Any help concerning the process of burning these master's is greatly appreciated.

Thnaks,
Todd

I have found that the easiest way to do it, is to copy the master discs to your harddrive, I just put them in a folder called "Buffett" on the desktop, this way you can burn your discs at your convinience. As far as formatting them to play in a CD player, your CD burning software should give you the option of converting the files to MP3 or .wav when you begin the process, I am currently using Sonic Record now and that program asks you if you want to make a CD for home or car use, others might ask you to select the format you prefer.

happy burning... :pirate:

I have just clicked "copy disc" and burned it right to another CD. I have not had a problem with them not playing anywhere.
