It was 8/28/05 in Chicago.
They appeared together again on 9/6 in Boca Raton. I've been searching high and low for both to no avail. It's a shame when an artist allows taping and great moments like this happen and no one appears to have taped it.

The date I have is 8/25/05 in chicago, Jack's website said 8/28/05 Lakefront Pavilion @ Northerly Island - Chicago, Illinois, United States

As much as I would love to have the show.........my sources came up empty. Sorry.
Maybe we can check Jack's fans, eh?

I just checked the Jack Forum and the people there think that the Chicago show was not recorded. Too bad there was nobody there.....

I think you might have the date wrong. My sources show buffett played in Philly on 8/25/2005.

Thanks for the catch, I did get the dates mixed up when looked at the shows Jimmy came onstage with Jack Johnson on 8/28 in Chicago, and again 9/2 in Boca Raton FL.
If anyone knows of these shows please let me know.

I was there... very very cool to see Jimmy on the side of the stage enjoying the show and actually singing along at times
But the bad news is that i did not see a mic stand anywhere

Man, I am jeleous about that show, I have talked to alot of people that where at the show and said taht he did not see the tapers there. Suprising that it was Chicago, usally a hot bed for that scene.
Oh well I know he played again 2 days later with Jimmy at Boca Raton, but that show was even less populated, and no tapers their either. Hopefully there will be another occurance of the duo this year.
