Did any of you folks who listened to/taped the show off Sirius last night (4/25/06 Mountainview) have a dropout in Boat Drinks? I know RM screwed up the beginning of California Dreaming, but I also have a decent dropout in Boat Drinks...

Not sure if its my receiver, the Sirius sattelites, or RM, but I seem to be getting more than average dropouts this tour. Anyone else noticing this trend?

Hell, with my luck its just me...

Have to check my copy. I know there was a pretty big drop in We are The People.

Yeah, I have gone in and done some blending... if only it had occured in the chorus so I could fill the missing data with another part of the song.

I guess it is the perfectionist in me, but I am frustrated that I have yet to get a completely "clean" show from the tour so far. Lots of little blips I have been able to fix, but I shouldn't have to go in and "fix" shows.

They'll be replaying the Phoenix show sometime after the first leg... (I'm not sure if Jazz Fest qualifies as being part of the first leg), so maybe this week or the next. Playing a recording of a show, a lot less can go wrong, so that will probably be your best bet for a 'clean' show.

Yup. I agree. I have started warming-up to the idea of making my own compilation of all the various songs played this tour and mixing one giant concert... As long as none of the rarely played songs get cut, should be a nice souvenir.

I listened to my copy of Boat Drinks twice and I'm not hearing any drops and I didn't see any in the file when I was cutting it up. Granted I have the sound pretty low here at work.

Mine's from the satellite broadcast.

Beginning of California Dreamin' is garbled.

Does everyone's have the drop in We Are The People? I saw it mentioned on the concert discussion last night.

Listened to my copy again on the way home and it sounded fine.

I agree with ya on that one! I was just kinda hoping with Sirius and a 100% signal (yup all bars filled baby!) the days of drop-outs were over. Even with a few drop outs, sound quality is WAAY better than the old days of capturing the mono internet stream... Hell, its still way better than the stereo internet stream. :D
