I am currently looking to upload my recording (from Sirius) of the
04.28.06 show. The recording has been split and encoded into 192Kbps mp3 files. I still have the original flac files if anyone wants those?

So do we do this via Torrent or FTP?

Let me know your thoughts.

your best bet is to torrent..but then we do have some idiot newbs that will ask, and ask and ask how to DL, then how to convert FLAC > .wav

i'd be happy with an FTP or Torrent...either

Torrent is great if others are downloading. I'd like to see torrent become the main method for sharing here, but as Pablo said, there are a lot of peopl on here that don't understand it.

FTP works well too, and allows anyone to access it.

Flac should be the standard for sharing, not mp3.

Now how about someone getting the 4/20 show available for download???

I taped the 4/20/06 show, and the reason i haven't released it (or any other shows) is b/c the majority of people here do not know how to capture and then cut a show. Its too much of a hassle to explain it...you know?

It would be a lengthy discussion I'm sure. Your 4/20 show, did you cut it? If not, I would do it. If you have the flac file(s), I'll do what I can with them. I'm dying to hear the show again.

I know you captured the sirius broadcast. What did you capute it with, and at what rate?

Name the Torrent Site And I will upload the flacs.

Really. Some pholks still have not learned how to do this. Eveyone is a newbie at something at one time in their life.

I'd also much rather see these shows go around in FLAC. I'd be glad to help people out with either FTP or Torrents.

As far as sites to host... www.thepiratebay.org, torrentspy.com. There are plenty out there. I've never seeded a torrent before so I don't know all that much about seeding.

Shoot me a PM when/if it gets uploaded and i'll be right on it.

Most of us idiot newb pirate parrots just want to hear the show again when we miss them and we can hear mp3 just fine with our old buccaneers.

I can provide about 500mb of space on one of my servers (100mb datacenter connection). I'd can set up a username/password for uploads, and have anonymous downloads.
