I have just finished uploading my recording of the 2006.10.21 Las Vegas NV Show.
It was recorded off of Sirius and is in MP3 format (320 Kbps)
The recording started late so it is missing the first 2 minutes of Brown Eyed Girl.
*** I do have the original Flac files available and would like to torrent them (Need a good torrent site suggestion) ***
You can download it from the following FTP server
To log in go to:
FTP Site: bootlegs.jimmydreamz.com
User ID: jimmy
Password: buffett
**You no longer need to set a port
**In order to download shows it's best to use a FTP program. There are several available at Download.com. We recommend using WSFTP.
**You can log in using your default settings, the port is no longer required. The ftp site is now much quicker and will allow many more users and will provide you with great access 24 hours a day. Thanks to Stoney and ParrotDoc for setting this up.
*** If you don't know how to FTP read this:
http://www.ftpplanet.com/ftpresources/basics.htm
I find that it is much easier to download files using an FTP client (software) than it is using your internet browser.
Here is a free FTP software I found on downloads.com (Use at own risk, I have have not used this program before)

Take care.....

Sweet! Unfortunately I can't get it here at work (stupid proxy settings), but I'm all over it once I get home. I look forward to hearing it.
Anyone else get a good pull with all of Brown Eyed Girl?

Which quite often happens just after it't posted on jimmydreamz.

u2hibby,
Thanks for taking the time to do this time and time again. It is greatly appreciated. Also a huge thanks to those who are providing the ftp sites to host the concerts.

Pretty sure they all make their way up there at some point. Keep your eyes peeled and I bet you'll see it soon

I have not been using the ftp software. I use this link with Internet Explorer.
ftp://jimmy:buffett@jimmybuffett.servebeer.com/ Find the concert you are looking for and double click to expand the file. Highlight the files you want and drag them to the file on your computer where you want them.

Sorry to bump this back up....but I'm really trying to nab this before tomorrow and if anyone knows the password for this site
ftp://jimmy:buffett@jimmybuffett.servebeer.com/ I would sure appreciate it....
The first time I clicked on it I wasn't asked for a password, but I had to close the page and when I came back I was asked for a password and haven't been able to get back in.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try this thread ...

Check the first post. Hope it works.

The password is buffett, I believe. It should be the same that is listed in the first post. Each time I'm asked for the password I can't get it to work. Then I go to this thread and click the link to the site, and usually it lets me right in.

Thanks guys...it does seem a bit touchy.
I haven't gotten it to work by signing in yet, but I've closed my browser window and opened it again and been able to get back in.
*shrug*...as long as I can get in one way or the other I'm a happy camper.

Were you able to get the concert? If there are too many users logged on I get error messages. When I click on the link I posted it goes right to the site. Something else that might work is copy and paste the link to your browser. The other site is
ftp://jimmy:buffett@bootlegs.jimmydreamz.com

Do the 2 ftp sites have the same shows/files? I've only ever used
ftp://jimmy:buffett@jimmybuffett.servebeer.com/ and it's always worked for me.
By the way, I think I might have seen you (your nametag) in the MGM Grand last weekend, but you were going one way in the crowd and I was going the other with our group. Sorry I wasn't able to hook up and introduce myself, but we were around the pool Friday, Saturday (before the street party) and Sunday afternoons. I was looking for signs and nametags, but never spotted anyone when we were there. We had a great weekend and I think we've hooked 2 or 3 more couples to the live Buffett experience. I just wish I were there again this weekend ... we know 2 couples that are down there right now.

Chuck Wagon,
Sorry we missed you at the MGM. I noticed lots of lanyards but most were local parrothead clubs. I'll have to post a picture of us when I figure out how to do it.

We got a good picture with the live Parrots at the pool party. Would love to still be there for this Saturday's concert. It's a shame work gets in the way of all the fun!
I believe the two FTP sites are identical in contents. I usually use the serverbeer site. During the day I have gotten error messages when trying to connect saying too many users. Late it's never been a problem.

Great work! But you can save some filespace/traffic. Sirius only broadcast at 128Kbps so anything over that is excessive. I keep stuff in 192 for consistancy.
Also, here's a free FTP client that I find very nice. (I love open source)
http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
MSIE works okay for most of this stuff but there are some limitations for other FTP uses. The big one I run into is the files per folder limit. It'll give you the first hundred or so and then stop listing. Also a client like FZ can continue a DL that was interrupted.

Dez: I use SmartFTP....it's free at
http://www.smartftp.com/
Sure makes downloading a breeze!
Thanks, again, to the people who do this for us. I've kept the good karma going by burning shows for others!
