Hi I was wondering if there was any word on the ftp sites( jimmydreamz) and others. I was down in Key West in 04 at Casa Marina. I was hoping to locate a copy of that MOM show.

Thanks,

J

You don't have permission to access /phpBB2/portal.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I was able to get in and download files using WS-FTP (which is 10 years old or better). I tried adding the location as one of My Network Places in XP and I couldn't get in that way, so it looks like a real ftp program is the way to go.

The only issue I ran into was when I downloaded the Atlanta show, I got all the files but one - the REM version of On The Road Again. For some reason that file would download about 8% and stop.

Do you have his e-mail or contact info for here? I have many, many shows, so I want to upload some for him.

I shot an e-mail over to Jim at JimmyDreamz this morning to ask if it the FTP site is ever coming back up and here's the reply he sent:
Jim @ JimmyDreamz wrote:The site is down and things are not looking good. If it does fall through I hope to build a new one by the fall.

I'll see if I can get an update posted if I hear back from the server host.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy return! :D

What the heck do people have against MP3's??? It makes me laugh. iPods, iTunes and MP3 players, etc., make the world a wonderful place. I love having all these shows readily available and they sound great!!!!

(I know, I know, now the audiophile purists are going to chime in with all their BS about lossless this and that. Save it!! Don't wanna hear it. I'll take MP3's any day.)

I know I'd much rather have an MP3 copy of something I want than no copy at all!!! Top notch lossless quality is great and I appreciate it, but if I can get a decent MP3 of something I want that isn't otherwise available, I'll take it. Something is better than nothing.
