Hey, I have the show from Manassas, VA 6.15.05. Is that one you're looking for? If so, as I tell everybody, hit me up with an IM at DoctorDuk and I can shoot you over the folder of MP3's. If you're unsure about IMing, grab AOL Instant Messenger. It's a free application and you don't need to be an AOL member to use it. Makes life very easy.

If you have a stand alone cd recorder, you can plug the speaker output of the computer into the input of the recorder.
If you have a decent enough computer, software and space on your hard drive, you can run the speaker output back into the microphone input and record it directly onto the hard drive. I'm sure there's a much better way of recording it to the computer, but I honestly don't know.
The couple of times I've done it, I've run the speaker output to my DAT recorder and recorded it on a DAT tape. It's excessive, but the tapes last long enough to record it all in one shot. Then I just dump it back to cd and edit/cut it into tracks.
I have a copy of the other Merriweather show from that year but the quality is so-so. I wish they were replaying the night I went to.

I did a Google search for "how to record streaming audio" and among a sea of products, found one article on about.com that talks about a couple of free software downloads that will record streaming audio off of the internet along with some brief instructions. I've never used any of these, so I can't vouch for their quality/ability, but I hope this is helpful to you.

If you have a good look around here you will also find a good recording primer with all that you need to know for recording RM

If you buy one of those handy dandy sirius radio receivers from Best Buy, you can record anything from RM!
It's really easy. You can plug it into various output devices and Voila!
