How/Where Do I Upload a Show??

Post by ParrotHead Elm »

I'd like to throw a show or two up for people to download. Anyone know what I need to do?

Check out this FTP site:

ftp://buffett.jokelben.us
logon - buffett@jokelbe.us
password - buffett

The owner of the site (bobtu) has posted on here and asked us to add anything he doesn't have.

One of those shows you have wouldn't happen to be Vegas 2007-10-20 would it?

Hey.
That site never works for me. It says that it doesn't exist anymore. Something along those lines. Every time I try, no matter what browser I use (I'm on a Mac).

The only Vegas shows I have are from 2005 and 2006. If you need either of those, LMK.

a browser....that is probably your problem

Nothing like a little passive aggressiveness.
Of course, I meant ftp program. Geez.

I was just trying to help.

I am using a Mac and an app named Cyberduck, the site
works for me. I just connected before my last response.

Hi. I use Fetch, too, but errors come up. "...could not be opened because the server rejected the password."

I used the password and username from above and for host name I typed in buffett.jokelben.us.

Do you have any suggestions? This is becoming quite maddening.

Thanks.

ftp uploads

PHE:

Have you ever visited Spooners Shows? He's got several sites that are pretty cool.......

I have downloaded and uploaded on his ftp site, but have never had any luck with the torrents; I just haven't tried hard enough.

There's a whole lot of informational posts and folks on those sites who are glad to help, and 'Ol Spooner himself will help when you've exhausted all the tips and directions already listed.

Hey Bud!
I haven't had luck with Spooner's site. Always errors. The ftp program Fetch seems to work relatively well, though, so do you know the host, username and password for that site? I'll try again.

You could also try Orbitfiles, they give you 6 gig free. If you want unlimited storage you can pay $5 a month. That way anybody looking for a show does not have to fool around with an FTP program.

I tried logging in this way and it finally worked using Fetch :
buffett.jokelben.us
logon; buffett@jokelben.us
password; buffett

Looks like there was a "n" missing in the log in info - maybe that's why it wasn't working?

To anyone trying to use this ftp, there was a typo in the login name here. here's the corrected login that should work.
