(1) Topping(s)?
(2) National chain?
For me, it's.....
(1) Pepperoni & extra cheese - basic, but so good
(2) Pizza Hut - for their ever changing menu & consistency, at least in my area
How about you?????

1) same as above
2) same as above, but prefer the local corner pizza/cheesesteak shop over national chains.
Good girl, Christine, for keeping Lenten observences.

actually the only chain pizza i like is from a place that started in Ohio but i can't remember the name!

there is one in Orlando and i went with Mr and Mrs Topless(Mr is from Ohio and it's his favorite)
I found it! Donatos!!! We don't have them here but it's very yummy pizza for a chain!

That's mine, too.
We have a few smaller places here, Pudge Brothers, Anthony's, and Goodfella's. But sometimes good ole Pizza Hut is what we have.

Pepperoni
Imo's - a regional chain based in St. Louis. They will air freight pizzas to me (or anyone else) - for a price.

I'm a pepperoni girl, but really anything that came from a pig is uberyummy.
We don't do pizza from national chains. We always get pizza at Beau Jo's here in CO or make it ourselves so it can be gluten-free.

Wow, lot's of responses to this thread already.......since my "Favorite Beer" thread ended so abruptly the end of last month I was wondering if anyone still read this far down the BN Forums page.....
Sorry about my asking about the national pizza chains, but I thought it might be easier to talk about!! However; since many of you have already said it, I, too, will take most locally-owned pizzerias over the nationals as well.
Anybody have any "interesting" local pizza shop names to share?????? What about pizzas with toppings that may not be found elsewhere around the country???
And, with friends in both NY & Chicago I'm hesitant to ask, do you like thin crust or pan pizza best?????
So many pizzas, so little time.......

I like thin crust more. Not a ton of sauce.
Used to love "Godfathers" pizza, but they are gone. As is Shakey's that I grew up with in Illinois.
I like green olives on a pepperoni, too.
And no pineapple or mushrooms. Ever.

I know it almost sacrilege to mention it.....BUT....
I'm all about ham/pineapple/green peppers........I don't like pepperoni all that much......
Sometimes just a veggie pizza w/mushrooms, black olives, peppers, onions.....
Usually Pizza Hut, but more out of convenience than a love for their pizza.....
