BR's Baked Beans

Post by Joetown Parrothead »

This is MY Smoked Baked Beans.... They are awesome!

2 (32-ounce) can pork and beans
2 cups chopped beef brisket or pulled pork
2 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 red onion
2 cups Salsa
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Over medium heat, bring beans to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer for a while!

I cook my on the smoker for 2-3 hours, 1st hour with a lot of smoke then cover and leave them alone.... Around 250-275 in the smoker.
