choice of cheese, I had Provolone tonite
daughter had cheddar
hubby had American white
mayo
daughter added mustard
low sodium pickles on the side
served on sub rolls tonite, not toasted tonite
sometimes we just go for the BLC's no T's,
Try it Jen, you might like it

I find a nice looking diner, have a seat at the counter, and say "I'll have a B.L.T. please." That's how I make a BLT.

toast two slices of cheap white bread
put lots of real butter on each slice
put about 10 strips of HOT not quite crispy bacon between buttered toast slices.
eat (leaning over plate so melted butter does not run down your chin)
I don't want vegetables on my bacon sandwich!

mayo
salt
pepper
thick slices of homegrown 'maters

my favorite way is open face with a slab of cheddar on top, melted under a broiler sliding off the sides
