I think it is time for me to give back to this little community of Parrot Heads.
I have a recording of the August 19, 1999 concert in Cincinnati, oHIo.
Yes, it was a Radio Margaritaville concert re-play.
I have broken it into tracks. Would anyone be interested?

I am not sure of how to distribute it.
I like Sunlover's method of using Media Fire. But I don't have an account.

Any suggestions?
The Ukefan

But the lady's not with us, she died long ago
And they don't run her movies on late midnight shows
'Cause the kids would get restless, and the grown-ups would snore
'Cause they don't dance like Carmen no more.

You can get a free account at Mediafire. The only real limitation of the free account vs paid is that each file can only be 100MB or less. Since you already cut the show into tracks, each file will probably be 4-6 MB or so. There are no download limits. With a free account, the download links are also ad supported, which is not too big a deal.

Uploading is easy. When you sign on to Mediafire, you will see a large green button to upload files. You can select multiple files to upload and view the progress of the upload. You can also select a folder to upload the files into or move the files later into the desired folder.

Managing the files is also easy. You can create whatever folders you want and move the files in and out of folders. The good thing is you don't have to update your posted download links if you move files to other folders.

I believe it's worth creating a free account, especially if you have some shows to share with the phlock! Just my 1/4 byte... 8)

Thank You.
I will give it a try in the morning.
Of course it may not be posted to the board in the same fancy manner you do it. But at lease it will be available to share.

Wish me luck everyone.

Ok, here goes my first attempt.

You can download individual tracks from the show.
But it isn't as fancy as SunLover's. You can't just right-click unfortunately.
There was no preshow interview.
If anyone has any problems with the files, please let me know.

As a side note, I just want you all to appreciate all the work SunLover does every week to post these shows.
It took me 1 hour and 50 minutes just to type the darned HTML for this posting.
That isn't counting the 27 minutes it took to upload the concert to the site.
Or the 3 1/2 hours it took to edit the concert and divide it into individual tracks.
No exageration really.

With Mediafire, the Right Click function does not apply. Occasionally when Mediafire was allergic to one of my files, I would upload it to my own webspace. This would be a Right Click, Save As... function.

No problem posting the shows. For the HTML, I usually type the code while the files are uploading, then post the links into the code. Copy/Paste is very convenient...

That's actually pretty good! You must have a fast connection. It usually takes me about 30 minutes for each half of the shows...

Yeah, editing can take a while. Depending on your technique, your edit time will come down with more practice.

Thanks for posting the show!! 8)
