With the holidays coming up, anyone got any good recipes for Holiday Martinis.....

Candy Cane Martini
1 1/2 oz. vodka
1 tsp. peppermint schnapps
1 oz. Club Soda
Mix all ingredients with ice in a shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Option: Garnish with a small candy cane or create a candy cane "rimmer" with crushed candy canes.

OR

Peppermint Stick Martini

Enjoy the holidays with this fabulous martini recipe.

1 peppermint stick, crushed
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1 ounce peppermint schnapps
1 ounce Triple Sec
Ice
1 small candy cane

Moisten the rim of a chilled martini glass and dip the wet rim into the pummeled peppermint. Combine the vodka, schnapps, Triple Sec and ice in a cocktail shaker.

Shake it like Santa knows you've been bad. Carefully strain the mix into the martini glass and garnish with the candy cane. Ho ho ho and away we go.

Ginger snap martini
Ingredients

* 3 ounces of Level vodka
* 1 teaspoon of ginger syrup
* 1 small piece of freshly cut ginger
* 1 ounce of ginger ale
* 2 thinly sliced orange zests

The mix

* Add the vodka and ginger syrup to a glass shaker that is 1/2 full of cracked ice and let stand for about a minute.
* Rub the fresh ginger around the inside of 2 chilled martini glasses.
* Back to your shaker and shake, shake, shake.
* Strain your cocktail into the martini glasses and add 1/2 of the ginger ale to each glass.
* Each glass gets an orange zest.

Peppermint twist martini
Ingredients

* 2 ounces of Absolut Peppar vodka
* 1 ounce of white Creme de Menthe
* 1.5 ounces of Godiva White Chocolate liqueur
* 1 ounce of Rumple Minze peppermint liqueur
* 2 small peppermint patty candies
* Peppermint twist martini glass rim sugar

The mix

* Pour the ingredients except the Creme de Menthe into a shaker 3/4 full of cracked ice.
* Shake vigorously for a full minute.
* Rim your martini glasses with peppermint twist sugar
* Strain your elixir into the glasses
* Top each glass with 1/2 of the Creme de Menthe.
* Garnish each glass with a peppermint patty.

Cranberry martini

Ingredients

* 2 ounces of Absolut vodka
* 1 ounce Godiva liqueur
* 1 ounce cranberry juice
* 1 teaspoon cranberry sauce
* 1/2 ounce of chilled Champagne

The mix

* Add all ingredients (except the Champagne) into a shaker 1/2 full of cracked ice.
* Let stand for a full minute.
* Shake for a full minute.
* Strain into 2 chilled martini glasses.
* Top each glass with 1/2 of the Champagne.

There's a couple on the Chambord site...

1 and 1/2 parts Finlandia Vodka
1/2 part Chambord
1/2 part Pineapple Juice

Shake ingredients with ice and strain. Serve in Martini Glass.

and...

Rouge Martini

2 oz.Gin
1 tsp. Chambord

In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine the gin and Chambord. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Eggnog Martini

Ingredients:
1 Oz Eggnog
1 Oz Ameretto
1 Oz Vodka

Directions:
Combine all ingredients and shake well. Dust with freshly grated nutmeg or cinnamon, if desired.

Serves: 1

Christmas Martini

Ingredients:
2 oz Gin
splash of dry Vermouth
splash of peppermint schnapps

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain and serve in a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a sprig of mint if desired.

Serves: 1

This one also looks good but I can't find the recipe for it.

It's called Gstaad Winter martini, I think that was the name :-?

This is the last one, and bonus, I found something to do w/my Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, besides drink it straight :D [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

BAILEYS HOLIDAY MARTINI

Ingredients
• 2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream
• .25 oz. Smirnoff No.21 Vodka
• .25 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
Preparation
• Add Baileys Irish Cream, Smirnoff No.21 Vodka, and Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

• Shake with ice and pour into martini glass
• Garnish with raspberry

Not a martini, but a long shot.....but Hot Buttered Rum is one of my favorite winter/holiday drinks!


HOT BUTTERED RUM

ingredients:
• 6 cloves (whole)
• 1 1/2 oz. dark rum
• 1 generous tbsp. brown sugar
• 1 Cinnamon stick
Boiling water
butter
Grated nutmeg
Lemon peel

Mixing instructions:
Rinse a large mug with boiling water and add brown sugar, cinnamon stick, and a lemon peel studded with cloves. Pour in a little boiling water and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add rum and fill with boiling water. Stir, then place pat of butter on top of drink, and sprinkle with grated nutmeg.

Just pulled these off M'ville!
They're for the margaritaville blender, but you could make them with a regular one, I"m sure!

Frozen Candy Cane
Serves 3

Ingredients:
½ cup vanilla vodka
½ cup peppermint schnapps
½ cup white chocolate liqueur
Ice
Candy canes, crushed

Directions:
Add vodka, schnapps and liqueur to the blending jar. Fill ice reservoir with ice. Place crushed candy canes in a shallow dish. Wet rim of 3 glasses and coat with crush candy canes.

Cranberry Daiquiri
Serves 3

Ingredients:
1 ½ cups cranberry juice
½ cup rum
½ cup sour mix
2 tablespoons orange liqueur
Ice
Fresh cranberries


Directions:
Add cranberry juice, rum, sour mix and orange liqueur to the blending jar. Fill ice reservoir with ice and blend. Garnish with fresh cranberries.
