This is from Blanchard's down in Anguilla

Parmesan Pepper Dressing
Makes 1-1/2 cups

1/4 cup - freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 cup - freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 - garlic clove
1/2 cup - milk
1 teaspoon- Worcestershire sauce
1 cup - olive oil
1/2 teaspoon- salt
1/2 teaspoon- coarsely cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon- minced fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried
2 tablespoons- minced fresh parsley

Put the lemon juice, Parmesan, garlic, milk, and Worcestershire sauce in a food processor, and pulse until the mixture is fairly smooth. With the machine running, add the oil slowly until the dressing is emulsified.Add the salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley, and pulse twice to blend.

Sounds like a nice change from the store-bought, creamy-style, "basically-Ranch-with-pepper-and-cheese."

thanks

We ate there! In July, while island hopping! But I don't remember this, so probably didn't order it. Good food otherwise. Afterwards, we got to go watch Bankie play his final rehearsal before his summer US tour... specially nice night. Maybe will have to mix this up as an Anguilla tribute.

Yeah, I got an email trying to sell it to me. I can't even keep up with the cookbooks I HAVE and we're either eating out all the time or, conversely, dieting, so I rarely buy cookbooks any more. They fun to look at at bookstores.

I have to admit I cheat and get them at the library and copy the recipes I like. 8)
