There is a show I've found on a couple of the common FTP servers (noticed you had it too, ChzHeadParrothead) that I'm confused about. It was on March, 29, 1978 in Milwaukee, WI. The BN Set List (as well as that 'other' Buffett site) shows it to be from Summerfest Marcus Amphitheater. However, the recording is well marked as Riverside Theater, complete with the picture of the Riverside on each song. It isn't a very high quality recording (from the audience), so it's hard to hear alot of Jimmy's banter to identify exactly where it took place. It does sound like a smaller theater vs. something large and outside like the Summerfest grounds. I like it because it has a pretty early recording of Livingston Saturday Night. My anal-retentive tendencies make me want to really identify where it took place. I've searched high and low on the internet for other details, but haven't found anything to confirm. Thoughts from anyone else?

I know nothing about the show....but there seems to be a conflict between the date in late March, and an appearance at Summerfest.

Um, yeah. Guess I thought about it from different perspectives. Although many years ago, it is still unlikely that Summerfest was happening in late March! This is leading me to believe that the show did occur in late March at the Riverside and that both set lists are inaccurate referencing Summerfest.

I know for a fact that there is no way that this show took place on the Summerfest grounds in late March. Around here in late March, there is a good chance there still is snow on the ground. I do not know where this show took place for sure, but the Riverside Theatre is the most logical location for a late March show.

This was a great show - Jimmy & Mac in their "living room" (i.e., a couch and floor lamp as stage set) and Jimmy literally picked up the phone, ordered pizzas and then tossed them into the crowd.

Sounds like you were there and it was a cool show. So, can you confirm it was at Riverside and on 1978.03.29?
