I uploaded this song to the Misc folder on Sunlovers FTP. I hope Sunlover doesn't mind :pirate:

Thanks for all you do Sunlover!

Thanks!

Sounds like you stripped the audio out of a video? Can I ask where you found the video with the entire SOASOAS song? Anything I've found so far is clipped towards the end of Jimmy and Mac's playing of the song. Would love to find a video of the whole song.

That's cool! I wanted to hear this too. Here is the link for web users:

BTW, I deleted the duplicate file on the root directory.

I'm in the process of downloading/converting/trimming just the Jimmy part out of the whole tribute. I'll FTP it up to SunLover's server with the audio when I get it done.

You can find Jimmy's entire appearance from the memorial at this link. This includes all of his commentary, as well. Enjoy.

Thanks! To note the occasion, Mac put on a suit and tie. . . . Jimmy put on shoes!

Looks good! What did you use to convert the video? I'm guessing it was a .FLV file originally...

So weird to see Jimmy all dressed up like that!

Yeah, sorry. I'm an advanced amateur when it comes to video. Came down as .FLV, converted to .AVI with Replay Converter to do the trimming. I'm all ears for other (cheap/free) conversion tools and techniques.

When Jimmy did Jazz @ Lincoln Center 2 years ago it was just him, Mac, Ralph and Robert. Mac, Ralph and Robert wore suits, as did all the other performers who were there. Jimmy wore a Hawaiian shirt, jeans and loafers but he kicked the loafers off before he started playing.

Shoes and super weird pants...hopefully they were black, but appeared to be dark brown. :o
