Aloha and Blessed Beltane! May 1 is the first day of summer for the ancient Celts. (I believe I qualify as an ancient Celt at this point!) Big festival, in the morning the maidens would rise at sunrise, go to the meadow, face the east, and bathe in the fresh morning dew (kinda like druid skinny-dipping). Then there would be much merrymaking, and bonfires through the night! Awesome tailgate!

No work today -- Kevin is having a "procedure".....gotta be the driver and listener of whining.
But I will manage to do some stuff in between. Our weather is going to be just like summer this weekend -- WOOHOO !!

My South Carolina state park pass expired yesterday. It's a beautiful day so I might as well grab my camera, go get my new pass and stay at the park awhile.

The Canada Geese in the area must have been getting it on. I looked out back from my balcony and I saw 14 goslings.
