Morning Ya'll.

Yes, it is Indy 500 day and there is also the Coca Cola 600 NASCAR race and then we wrap up the day with Kansas Nationals drag race.

Wow, Molly, that's a racy day! Mahnin' Nancita! What's on for today?

Slow start for me. I will be wandering around the yard cleaning up the remnants of our first summer party. Then lots of gardening. It's gorgeous today, the birds are raising a ruckus out there. Everyone have a peaceful Sunday!

Morning,Colleen,Nancy and Molly.
The checkered flag,I dropped one once.Muscle cars,lonely straight road at night,40 people watching the first run.Crossing the finish,both cars swerved around double state troopers that came onto the race with their lights off.Cars peeling tire,girls screaming,sirens blaring and I'm 15 years old,miles from home,with a checkered flag.

Good times!

Bill, your posts are so lyrical and full of imagery that you could be a beat poet! We need to start collecting them, it could be the BN's first volume of poetry! Maybe we could do a collection, ad everyone can do a poem ... and no fair rhyming with Nantucket!!

It's a beautiful start to yet another beach day for us. I just wish I could overcome my fear of heights and go out on this 18th floor balcony and enjoy it a little more.

Yes, it looks like a much nicer day than yesterday. You should be able to get that tan started today! Have fun but wear sunscreen!
